The little boy Hansel talks of God but also collects the shining white pebbles that will help the siblings to find their way back home. The well-known fairy tale seems to be telling us about confidence to trust both in ourselves and in life. Even when things look very bad there are help to be found... pebbles that glitter "like real silver pennies".
